Junior Oracle Database Developer

Job Brief

Neurocom S.A. is currently looking for a Junior Oracle Database Developer to join the team behind Motiwai.com — a cloud-native Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform that helps companies simplify and automate sales incentives.

Our latest product, Motiwai, is a modern sales commission and performance tracking platform, currently in active development and deployment.

You will join the team responsible for maintaining and evolving our Oracle-based commission platform — a mission-critical system running live at customer sites across multiple countries.

Whether you’re a recent graduate taking your first steps in database development or a developer with a couple of years of hands-on experience, we’d love to hear from you. What matters most is a solid grasp of SQL fundamentals, a genuine interest in Oracle and PL/SQL, and a strong motivation to grow. 

You’ll be supported by a team of experienced engineers who value mentorship and collaboration, working on a system where quality and reliability truly matter.

Main Responsibilities

• Write and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Learn and apply database design principles to real-world application challenges, with increasing autonomy over time
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, from requirements and design to testing and deployment
• Investigate and resolve database issues in collaboration with the team
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into database solutions

• Create and maintain technical documentation for data flows and processes

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or a related field
• Good foundational knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Up to 3 years of hands-on experience (academic projects, internships, and personal projects are welcome)
• Strong analytical mindset with a genuine curiosity about data and databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Military obligations fulfilled, if applicable

Desirable Knowledge

• Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL or Postgres PL/pgSQL
• Basic familiarity with Linux and shell scripting
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Prior exposure to the telecommunications industry
