What We're Looking For
This is not a QA role.
We are looking for a Junior Automation Developer to build and deliver digital workers within our UiPath ecosystem. Your primary responsibility is the development of robust automation workflows that are integrated into the wider enterprise landscape.
In this role, you will use UiPath as your core platform. You will prioritize API-led connectivity over UI interactions. As part of the Orange Group’s leading automation program, you will be responsible for developing and/or contributing to stable solutions that transform manual business processes into efficient digital assistants.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Junior Automation Developer, you will:
- Build, test, and maintain automations and automation components using UiPath and foundational scripting.
- Design and implement efficient workflows for business processes, operating under the mentorship of senior engineers to build technical proficiency.
- Partner with business teams to map AS-IS process flows, identify operational edge cases, and draft clear TO-BE technical blueprints.
- Develop modular, reusable code based on technical specifications, strictly adhering to internal standards for architecture, naming conventions, and interoperability.
- Ensure delivery quality by creating unit tests, defining clear acceptance criteria, and validating processes alongside Cybersecurity and Data Privacy guidelines.
- Monitor robot telemetry and execution logs to spot performance bottlenecks, proactively suggesting speed optimizations and new automation opportunities.
- Provide accurate execution estimates for assigned tasks and maintain transparent communication regarding technical blockers, daily progress, and project risks.
- Assist the Automation DevOps team with migrating code through testing and production environments, ensuring strict alignment with the overarching solution architecture defined by Lead Developers.
- Commit to a continuous learning path, actively pursuing advanced certifications (RPA, Agentic AI) to prepare for Mid-level responsibilities.
What You Need to Know / Have
Technical skills
- Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Cybernetics, or similar technical field)
- 1-2 years of general IT experience, with a minimum 1 year of experience in developing software automations (RPA) within the UiPath ecosystem.

- Base understanding of SQL querying for data-driven automation.
- Familiarity with JSON and XML
- Aptitude in Business Analysis for automation, including process mapping and technical synthesis (AS-IS/TO-BE).
Soft skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; French is a strong advantage.
- Autonomy in addressing day-to-day tasks and the ability to take low and medium-level technical decisions
- Analytical thinking with a focus on attention to detail regarding audit logs and root cause analysis.
