About the Role
NetCyberOps is a managed security services company known for the quality of our work. We're hiring an entry-level Backend Python Developer (Full-Time W2) to help build and extend the web application our customers rely on to manage their security posture. Your focus will be the REST API that powers the product.
That platform is how our customers and our security team stay connected. Both sides use it to triage events and track remediation while keeping visibility into active threats. Because it sits at the center of real security work, it needs to reflect the quality our company stands for. When the API is slow or returns bad data, response times to actual incidents suffer.
Security and quality come first here, and we prioritize them over speed. We're looking for someone early in their career who writes careful code, asks good questions, and wants to get seriously good at backend engineering. You'll start with well-scoped work alongside a senior developer and grow into owning features end to end.

What We're Looking For
We're targeting 0–2 years of professional experience. Internships, co-ops, bootcamps, meaningful open source, or substantial personal projects all count as evidence. What matters most is that you can write clear code and explain why you wrote it that way.
