Full-Stack Development with JavaScript/Node.js: Join the team behind OX App Suite and help shape the future of one of the world's leading open-source collaboration platforms. We work remotely across Germany with a high level of ownership and autonomy. Rather than following rigid role boundaries, we take collective responsibility for the entire development lifecycle—from architecture and implementation to testing, quality assurance, and deployment.
Cloud-Native Development with Kubernetes: Our platform runs as a distributed application on Kubernetes, serving millions of users across customer environments as well as our own cloud infrastructure.
Quality, Automation & Developer Tooling: CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, agentic coding, and long-term maintenance are an integral part of how we work. We believe quality is built into the development process—not added afterwards.
This is the tech stack you'll be working with:
Your background:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and modern web architectures.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Experience working with relational databases such as MariaDB or PostgreSQL.
Passion for designing intuitive APIs and user interfaces with a strong focus on usability.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, contribute ideas, and collaborate effectively within a development team.
Fluent German and solid English communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Vue.js, especially its reactivity system.
Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, container technologies, and cloud-native architectures.
A strong eye for UI design and user experience (UX).
Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive software design.
