Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong Banking/Financial Services domain experience to develop and maintain secure, scalable enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java backend applications and microservices.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and optimize backend services supporting banking and financial applications.
- Work with SQL databases, Hibernate/JPA, and data-intensive applications.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams in an Agile environment.
Required Skills
- 3–9 years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, Hibernate/JPA, Git, and Maven/Gradle.
- Experience with JUnit and automated testing.
- Mandatory: Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
- Strong understanding of secure and scalable enterprise application development.

- Candidates must have Canadian Banking/Financial Services experience.
- Canadian Permanent Residents (PR) and valid Open Work Permit (OWP) holders only.
