We’re looking for an experienced ISEE/SSAT Test Prep Tutor to join our team and help students prepare for these important private school entrance exams.

Who’s the Right Fit?

We are looking for ISEE/SSAT test preparation tutors who have strong knowledge of the exams and experience working with middle and/or high school students.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Has experience preparing students for the ISEE and/or SSAT
• Understands the structure, content, and strategies associated with these exams
• Can provide instruction in areas such as verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, mathematics, and essay/writing skills
• Can identify a student's strengths and areas for improvement and develop a customized preparation plan
• Is energetic, patient, engaging, and passionate about student success
• Can build students’ confidence while teaching effective test-taking strategies
• Is committed to providing a personalized and high-quality tutoring experience

As a Prep Academy Tutor, You Will:

• Provide personalized ISEE/SSAT test preparation based on each student's individual needs and goals
• Develop customized learning plans focused on skill development, content mastery, and test-taking strategies
• Help students improve their performance through targeted practice, review, and instruction
• Track student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Provide both remedial support and enrichment opportunities
• Build students’ confidence and help them approach standardized testing with greater preparation and ease
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress, challenges, and successes
• Provide tutoring in students' homes throughout Northern New Jersey and/or online

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking dynamic, compassionate educators who meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You have demonstrated experience tutoring students for the ISEE and/or SSAT
• You hold a current, valid registration with the New Jersey Department of Education
• You’re a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one)
• You’re a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education
• You have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university
• You are a subject matter expert with a Master’s or PhD
• You have a strong academic background in mathematics, English/language arts, or related fields

Prior ISEE/SSAT tutoring or test-preparation experience is highly valued.
