International Accounts & AML Analyst

Position Overview

Aries is seeking an International Accounts & AML Analyst to support the launch and ongoing operation of brokerage accounts for customers outside the United States.

This position will contribute to the design of our international onboarding program prior to launch and will subsequently be responsible for due diligence and casework on non-U.S. individual, entity, and trust accounts. The analyst will work closely with Compliance, the AML Officer, Product, and Engineering.

Pre-Launch Responsibilities

• Assist Compliance in developing international onboarding policies and procedures.

• Establish country eligibility criteria and product restrictions.

• Define acceptable documentation standards by jurisdiction and account type.

• Participate in testing onboarding workflows with Product and Engineering.

Ongoing Responsibilities

• Review non-U.S. account applications, including foreign entities and trusts with foreign trustees.

• Conduct enhanced due diligence, including source of funds and source of wealth reviews.

• Collect and validate W-8BEN and W-8BEN-E documentation.

• Review and disposition sanctions, PEP, and adverse media alerts.

• Investigate transaction monitoring alerts and prepare escalations for Compliance and the AML Officer, who retain final AML decision authority.

• Perform periodic reviews of higher risk accounts.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of AML or KYC experience at a broker-dealer, bank, or fintech.

• Direct experience onboarding non-U.S. customers, including legal entities.

• Demonstrated experience conducting enhanced due diligence.

• Working knowledge of OFAC requirements and high-risk jurisdiction controls.

• Ability to produce clear, examination-ready case documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CAMS or a comparable certification.

• Experience supporting the launch of a new market, product, or region.

• Proficiency in a second language.

Position Details

This is a fully remote position open to candidates in the United States. Standard hours are Monday through Friday during U.S. business hours, with a target start date in October 2026. The base salary range is $65,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience.
