About Collabrix Inc.

Collabrix Inc. is a rapidly growing SaaS company headquartered in Texas and serving life sciences enterprises worldwide. Our products enable seamless collaboration between pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and their global manufacturing partners. As a virtual-first company with a team based in India, we combine domain depth and technical agility to solve complex problems that matter.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Integration Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise integrations across supply chain, manufacturing, and industrial automation environments. The ideal candidate will have solid working knowledge of industry standards such as ISA-95 and ISA-88, coupled with practical experience in Industry 4.0 architectures, ERP, MES, LIMS, QMS, etc. and automation systems.

This role requires a professional who can work across both integration design and implementation — contributing to how integrations are structured while also building and supporting them in practice. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and client IT/OT teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and compliant integrations that support digital transformation in life sciences manufacturing.

At Collabrix, we embrace AI-assisted development across our value chain. We use Claude Code extensively — from integration design and development through to deployment and operations — and expect our team to be comfortable working alongside AI tools as a natural part of how we build and deliver.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integration solutions between ERP, MES, LIMS, QMS, etc. supply chain platforms, and industrial automation systems.

  • Apply standards such as ISA-95 and ISA-88 in integration design, ensuring consistency and interoperability across client environments.

  • Contribute to integration frameworks and patterns that support Industry 4.0 architectures, smart manufacturing, and connected supply chains.

  • Collaborate with client IT/OT teams to gather requirements, map data flows, and establish secure communication protocols.

  • Leverage APIs, middleware, ESBs, and modern integration tools for scalable deployments.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity requirements in life sciences manufacturing.

  • Troubleshoot and optimise integration performance, reliability, and scalability.

  • Document integration designs, specifications, and operating procedures; contribute to best practice guidelines and support the product roadmap with technical input.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in system integration, industrial automation, or manufacturing IT/OT.

  • Expertise in ISA-95 (Enterprise-Control System Integration) and ISA-88 (Batch Control) standards.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.), MES, LIMS, QMS, and supply chain solutions.

  • Familiarity with industrial automation technologies (PLC, SCADA, DCS) and data exchange protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, etc.).

  • Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, digital twins, and advanced analytics.

  • Strong knowledge of integration platforms (e.g., Apache Camel, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar).

  • Solid understanding of regulatory compliance in life sciences manufacturing (GxP, GMP).

  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

What We Look For

  • A systems thinker who understands both IT and OT domains and can work across design and implementation.

  • Ability to translate complex manufacturing workflows into well-structured integration designs.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with global client teams.

  • Commitment to quality, compliance, and reliability in mission-critical integrations.

  • Passion for enabling digital transformation in life sciences.

Work Schedule

To support our global customers with agility and excellence, we follow a six-day work model on alternate weeks. Employees are expected to work on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of each month. This helps us accelerate delivery timelines while maintaining high standards of quality.
