Overview :
7+ years of overall experience as a Business Analyst, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with the Instanda platform
Domain Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
- Strong understanding of Reinsurance and Workers’ Compensation processes.
- Familiarity with insurance product lifecycle and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Process Mapping expertise with proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Bizagi)
- Ability to conduct requirement gathering workshops independently with stakeholders
- Strong analytical and documentation skills (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with business and technical teams
- Experience working with US clients, with awareness of US insurance market practices
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture and document requirements for Instanda implementations. Map current and future state processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
- Conduct workshops, presentations, and training sessions independently.
- Support testing and validation of solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring smooth delivery of projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Instanda certifications or relevant insurance certifications will be an added advantage
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence
Soft Skills:
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
