Infrastructure Lead

We are seeking an Infrastructure Lead to lead the infrastructure workstream for a banking project, ensuring secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient IT infrastructure environments.

The Infrastructure Lead will work closely with Technology, Security, Application, Project Management, and other technical teams to deliver and maintain infrastructure solutions that meet business, operational, security, and regulatory requirements within highly regulated banking environments.

»       Lead infrastructure design, implementation, configuration, and support activities across project and operational environments.

»       Provide technical leadership for infrastructure workstreams and coordinate activities across technology, security, application, and project teams.

»       Manage and support enterprise infrastructure covering servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and cloud/on-premises environments.

»       Ensure infrastructure solutions meet banking security, availability, performance, and operational standards.

»       Support project deployments, infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and environment transitions.

»       Contribute to disaster recovery planning, infrastructure resilience, and business continuity activities.

»       Monitor infrastructure performance and availability and proactively identify and resolve technical issues.

»       Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams to resolve infrastructure incidents and implementation challenges.

»       Ensure infrastructure configurations and operational processes comply with applicable security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

»       Provide technical documentation, architecture inputs, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.

»       Lead infrastructure-related activities during project implementation, testing, deployment, and production transition.

»       Support technical risk identification, mitigation planning, and resolution of infrastructure-related issues.

Requirements

»       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

»       10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, infrastructure operations, or a related technology role.

»       Experience within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.

»       Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.

»       Strong understanding of enterprise networking, virtualization, storage, and infrastructure technologies.

»       Hands-on experience with cloud and/or hybrid infrastructure environments.

»       Proven experience leading infrastructure teams and large-scale technology implementations.

»       Experience supporting infrastructure deployments, migrations, disaster recovery, and high-availability environments.

»       Strong understanding of infrastructure security, operational controls, and compliance requirements.

»       Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
