JOB TITLE: INFORMATION SYSTEM SECURITY OFFICER (ISSO)

JOB LOCATION: REMOTE

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL-TIME

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: ACTIVE DoD SECRET

POSITION OVERVIEW:

You are the hands-on compliance authority. You will translate system architectures into compliant NIST controls, input the artifacts into eMASS, and maintain the system's security posture post-deployment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive eMASS data entry and map NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 controls.
Author the System Security Plan.
Manage post-deployment Continuous Monitoring (CONMON) and vulnerability tracking.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

TECHNICAL SKILLS

DoD 8570 IAM Level II/III or equivalent DoD 8140.
Mastery of eMASS.

EXPERIENCE

7+ Years DoD RMF Execution.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or IT.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience managing ACAS/Nessus vulnerability scans in Azure.
DoD 8570 IAM Level II/III or equivalent DoD 8140.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standard Office Environment.

Minimal (0-5%).
