Industrial Designer

Uptalent.io is seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to join a leading global platform that provides top tier talent from Latam to the most exciting companies in the world. As an Industrial Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products, improving existing ones, and ensuring that they meet customer needs. The right candidate will have a passion for problem-solving, innovation, and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new products, improve existing ones, and ensure that they meet customer needs.
• Conduct research and analysis to understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitors' products.
• Create and present design concepts that meet customer requirements and are feasible to manufacture.
• Develop 3D models and prototypes using CAD and other tools to test and validate designs.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing specifications and work with suppliers to ensure that designs can be produced efficiently.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure that they meet design requirements and are of high quality.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure that products are produced according to design specifications and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Industrial Designer.
• Proficient in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Rhinoceros & AutoCAD.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to present design concepts to stakeholders.
