Independent Verification & Validation - IVV Analyst

We are seeking an IV&V Analyst to identify, assess, and track project risks on a state agency IT modernization project. You will analyze project requirements and deliverables, evaluate risk, and report independent findings to the IV&V Delivery Manager and the client.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, assess, and track IT project risks and their mitigation
- Analyze business requirements and system deliverables
- Review contractor performance and deliverables against contract requirements
- Document findings and track corrective actions to closure
- Support testing and quality reviews on the project

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5 years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects, including at least 3 years in business systems analysis and design
- At least 5 years of IT project risk assessment and management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree. Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the degree year for year.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience performing COTS evaluation, modification, and integration
- Experience performing software or system quality assurance
- Experience with software testing, including system-level functional and performance testing
- Experience with contractor management
- Active certification in good standing from one of the following: PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP); Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC); CSQE; Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE); ISO 9001 Lead Auditor; ISTQB Certified Tester (Test Analyst); Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP)
- Experience in intelligent transportation systems engineering
