Summary Overview 

We are seeking resourceful, self-motivated individuals interested in building skills in vacation planning and client service while working remotely. As an Independent Travel Advisor, you will work directly with clients to understand what they want from their vacation, research appropriate options, and assist with coordinating the arrangements they choose.

Clients may request assistance with all-inclusive resorts, cruises, family vacations, couples escapes, group trips, tours, special occasions, and international destinations. This opportunity is suitable for individuals who enjoy research, organization, customer interaction, and managing responsibilities independently.

No previous travel industry background is necessary. Training and ongoing educational resources are available.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients virtually to discuss vacation ideas, preferences, schedules, and budgets
  • Research destinations and identify experiences that fit individual requests
  • Compare resorts, hotels, cruise itineraries, transportation, tours, excursions, and package options
  • Develop customized vacation suggestions based on client priorities
  • Explain relevant accommodations, amenities, inclusions, and available offers
  • Guide clients through their available choices and answer planning-related questions
  • Coordinate selected arrangements using approved supplier and reservation resources
  • Organize confirmations, itinerary information, and other important trip details
  • Monitor reservation requirements, payment dates, and upcoming deadlines
  • Follow up with clients throughout the planning and preparation process
  • Review names, dates, services, and reservation information for accuracy
  • Assist with routine updates, modifications, and special requests when needed
  • Maintain organized records of client communications and arrangements
  • Continue learning about destinations, suppliers, and vacation products

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must reside in the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Australia, Mexico, or many qualifying countries
