The Crown Is Yours

As an Incident Manager, you’ll lead the response to high-urgency incidents from detection through resolution, coordinating teams and keeping stakeholders informed along the way. You’ll manage active incidents, translate technical issues into clear business impacts, and help teams make informed decisions under pressure. You’ll also analyze incident data and contribute to post-incident reviews to improve how we respond to and learn from incidents over time.

What you’ll do as an Incident Manager

  • Lead end-to-end response for high-urgency incidents, coordinating triage and resolution across multiple teams.

  • Run incident response bridges with engineers, leadership, and other stakeholders, keeping teams aligned on priorities, active workstreams, and next steps.

  • Translate complex technical and operational issues into clear business impacts and risks while maintaining detailed records of incident timelines, decisions, actions, and resolutions.

  • Contribute to blameless post-incident reviews, supporting root cause investigations and identifying actions that improve resiliency.

  • Analyze production incident data and trends, and lead projects that improve incident response processes, data collection, and reporting.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation that includes work outside standard business hours.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in Incident Management within a technology-driven environment, including leading incident response bridges with engineers, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • The ability to prioritize competing work based on urgency, customer impact, and business risk.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and operational information clearly to different audiences.

  • The ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive while solving problems and collaborating with teams in high-pressure situations.

  • An analytical mindset with the ability to use incident data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Familiarity with incident management and observability tools such as Jira, PagerDuty, Datadog, or similar platforms.
