GLOBAL FASHION AGENDA is looking for a motivated and organised intern with a strong interest in social and environmental sustainability in fashion to support the Impact team on GFA’s publications and impact programmes. This is a full-time internship, beginning August/September 2026 and lasting for six months. GFA is open to both in-person (Copenhagen-based) and remote applicants.

JOB DESCRIPTION
You will assist the Impact team, which is responsible for GFA’s thought leadership publications such as the Fashion CEO Agenda and the GFA Monitor, and Impact Programmes such as the Circular Fashion Partnership. As the Impact Assistant, you will contribute across the full scope of the team’s activities, working closely with the team on both the research and content development for publications, and assisting with the project management and development of Impact Programmes.

  • Currently studying or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s degree with an interest in developing your professional skills through practical experience.
  • Passionate about social and environmental sustainability within the textile and apparel sector.
  • Studied and or have experience in the sustainability and/ or fashion field.
  • High-spirited work attitude and embrace challenges with a positive mindset.
  • Extremely organised, can take the initiative, work independently, and take on responsibility for assignments.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient user of Mac, Outlook, Google, Zoom, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
  • A team player, pro-active, enthusiastic and sociable with a positive outlook.
  • Support project management and organisational tasks for Impact Programmes (e.g., Circular Fashion Partnership), including creating communication materials, templates, and tracking tools.
  • Conduct research to inform publications and reports (e.g., Fashion CFO Agenda, Pay Equity, GFA Monitor, Apparel and Footwear Circularity Map).
  • Structure and analyse data for Impact Programmes (e.g., relative to KPIs)
  • Keep the team updated on the latest industry updates, new reports, key stakeholder activities of relevance to our workstreams.
  • Assist with coordination of meetings, events, and launches (online and in-person).
  • Provide administrative support including managing the team mailbox, CRM database, and other ad hoc duties.
  • A dedicated and diverse workforce with team members situated across the globe, passionate about sustainability in the fashion industry and the ability to work remotely two days a week.
