We're on a mission to make immigration more accessible, transparent, and human through cutting-edge technology and thoughtful legal support. Alma is backed by top-tier investors like Bling Capital, Village Global, Forerunner, NFX, and Conviction, and founded by a diverse team of Harvard Law, HBS, and UCLA grads with experience at Cooley, McKinsey, EY, and Uber. Our legal team is made up of former Vialto, Kramer, Ogletree, and BAL attorneys and paralegals.
We're looking for a creative and analytical immigration attorney to sit at the intersection of sales, strategy, and content. This role is the legal engine behind our sales motion: you'll be the go-to expert who turns a messy set of intake facts into a clear, defensible eligibility strategy β fast β and then turns those repeated patterns into content, tools, and scalable systems. It's ideal for someone who loves case strategy, thinks in pathways and probabilities, communicates crisply, and gets energy from helping a fast-moving team win.
If you're excited by employment-based immigration law, comfortable working alongside AI tools, and want to help build a better legal system from the inside β we'd love to meet you.
You'll be the primary legal partner to our Marketing team, helping shape Alma's voice across community engagement, public education, and immigration content. You'll translate legal expertise into clear, accurate, and practical guidance across social media, online communities, educational resources, and customer facing materials. As we grow, you'll help build scalable systems and resources that enable Alma to share trusted immigration knowledge with thousands of people.
Your time will roughly break down as:
Review and personalize responses for social media and online communities, ensuring every response is legally accurate and written in your authentic voice.
Participate in online community discussions, AMAs, webinars, and other educational initiatives to help establish Alma as a trusted voice in employment-based immigration.
Help identify recurring immigration questions and develop content that proactively addresses them.
Write scripts and appear in educational videos, webinars, podcasts, and other public-facing content.
Review immigration content for legal accuracy, clarity, and practical usefulness across our website, guides, blog, newsletters, and educational resources.
Write and edit immigration guides, website copy, FAQs, evidence lists, internal playbooks, templates, and workflows that make complex immigration topics easy to understand.
Publish timely attorney-backed breakdowns of USCIS announcements, regulatory changes, policy updates, and emerging immigration trends.
Help build and maintain Alma's immigration knowledge base, ensuring content remains accurate, current, and useful.
Provide legal review for new initiatives, educational materials, customer-facing resources, and marketing content.
Partner with Growth, Product, and Legal to turn common client questions into scalable educational content.

You're an exceptional writer who can explain complex immigration concepts in a clear, practical, and approachable way.
You enjoy educating people and building trust through thoughtful, authentic communication.
You're comfortable speaking publicly through videos, webinars, podcasts, and community events.
You have strong legal judgment and know how to distinguish between general educational guidance and fact specific legal advice.
You're comfortable using modern technology and excited about how it can help attorneys work more effectively and reach more people.
You think analytically and creatively, spotting patterns across many cases and translating those insights into educational content.
You enjoy collaborating across Legal, Growth, Product, Marketing, and Operations.
