Icelandic Audio Transcriber

About the Role

We are inviting experienced Icelandic transcribers to join a transcription project focused on improving voicebot performance. In this role, you will transcribe only the human side of short phone conversations between a voicebot and a participant using our dedicated transcription platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe human audio from short voicebot interaction files according to provided conventions and guidelines.
• Perform speaker labeling and audio segmentation as required by the platform.
• Review and refine transcripts to ensure high accuracy and quality.
• Maintain project confidentiality and adhere to submission standards.

Requirements

• Native Fluency: Native-level fluency in Icelandic (written and spoken).
• Professional Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience as an audio transcriber, copywriter, or translator.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with transcription tools (experience with speaker labeling and segmentation is a plus).
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict project guidelines precisely.
• Availability: Able to commit 10–15 hours per week for a 2–3 week project duration.
• Equipment: A reliable computer and stable internet connection.

Project Details & Compensation

• Rate: $2.52 USD per audio minute (submission-based, subject to quality review)
• Schedule: 100% Remote with flexible hours
• Resources: Access to our proprietary transcription tool, conventions, and guidelines will be provided
