A home is more than four walls - it's safety, connection, and belonging. Developmental Disabilities Resource Center (DDRC) is seeking compassionate individuals, couples, and families to become Host Home Providers for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Urgent Need: Accessible Homes in Jefferson County

We are actively seeking providers with wheelchair‑accessible homes so individuals with mobility needs can live, participate, and thrive with dignity. Accessible homes typically include:

  • Step‑free entrances
  • Accessible bathrooms
  • Wide hallways and doorways
  • Main‑floor bedroom options

Compensation

$1,800–$7,250+ per month, based on the individual's assessed support needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, stable, welcoming home
  • Offer a private bedroom and shared living space
  • Support daily living activities based on individual needs
  • Encourage independence, choice, and self‑determination
  • Assist with personal care, routines, medication support, meals, household tasks, community engagement, skill‑building, and transportation

All supports follow person‑centered practices and HCBS Final Settings Rule requirements.

Requirements

  • Age 21+
  • Own or rent a home meeting HUD, CDPHE, and DDRC standards
  • Provide a private bedroom
  • Pass background checks
  • Complete required training
  • Maintain contractually required insurance

Contractor Status
