HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
As a temporary Health Research Fellow, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping advance the goals of the Innovation & Research team at USGBC. In this role, you’ll support a defined, time-bound project to compile and synthesize the latest trends and developments in health-related building strategies, and develop, test, and refine the trend scanning process in alignment with our mission and strategic goals. This fellowship is designed for a strong researcher and synthesizer; it does not require deep technical consulting expertise.
This is a temporary, project-based fellowship engagement. This is not a regular employee position and is not eligible for employee benefits. Compensation is based on completion of agreed-upon project milestones and deliverables.
You’ll report to the Project Manager, Senior Associate of Innovation & Research and be part of a collaborative team environment where your contributions will help shape impactful outcomes. You’ll work closely with teams like Innovation & Research and may regularly partner with Technical Development to gather relevant insights and maintain alignment on cross-team objectives.

Compensation: Compensation will be provided in lump sum installments upon completion of deliverable milestones, not to exceed $10,000 total compensation. Full timeline and cadence will be determined with the candidate, with the expectation that all deliverables will be finalized within 3 months at the latest. If you have vacation scheduled where you will be absent for more than 5 days, we discourage you from applying.
Location: This position is remote in the United States.
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time, time-bound fellowship; schedule will be set with the supervisor to meet deliverable timelines. Candidates will be expected to be available to meet with supervisor once a week at minimum during normal working hours within Eastern Standard Time Zone. Note: Consultants are not compensated for holidays or personal time off.
