THE ROLE

Accumulus Technologies is seeking a senior regulatory engagement leader to help shape and lead

external engagement with health authorities and related stakeholders globally, with an initial focus on

Latin America.


This is a senior, externally-facing role for a regulatory professional who understands how health

authorities operate, how industry engages with regulators, and how to build trusted relationships in

complex, multi-stakeholder environments. The role will work cross-functionally with internal teams

and represent Accumulus in discussions with regulators, industry groups and other external

stakeholders.


The ideal candidate will bring strong regulatory credibility, experience working across multiple

markets, and the judgment to operate effectively in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Regulatory Engagement

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with health authorities and relevant external stakeholders.
  • Represent Accumulus in meetings, forums and discussions involving regulators, policy groups, industry bodies and other ecosystem participants.
  • Support the development and execution of regulatory engagement activities across priority markets.
  • Help identify opportunities for constructive engagement with authorities and related organizations.
  • Translate external stakeholder perspectives into clear internal recommendations and actions.


Regional and Global Leadership

  • Support regulatory engagement activity globally, with an initial focus on Latin America.
  • Provide informed perspective on regional regulatory dynamics, stakeholder priorities and market differences.
  • Help develop consistent approaches, messaging and engagement practices that can be applied across markets.
  • Share learnings across regions to support broader organizational capability.


Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Work closely with Commercial, Product, Customer Success, Regulatory Strategy and Executive Leadership.
  • Support external conversations where regulatory credibility and market understanding are critical.
  • Help ensure internal teams are well informed on external developments, stakeholder perspectives and potential implications.
  • Contribute to planning, coordination and follow-through on priority engagement activities.


External Affairs and Market Insight

  • Monitor developments in regulatory policy, modernization and cross-market collaboration.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant industry trends, stakeholder priorities and external signals.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on developments that may affect engagement strategy or market approach.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and external positioning where appropriate.


Internal Execution

  • Develop and implement a global regulatory engagement strategy to drive ecosystem engagement.
  • Develop stakeholder maps, engagement plans and briefing materials.
  • Help create repeatable processes, tools and internal guidance for external engagement.
  • Contribute to clear tracking of activity, progress and outcomes.
  • Operate effectively across multiple priorities with strong judgment and execution discipline.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Significant experience in regulatory affairs, regulatory policy, regulatory intelligence, external regulatory engagement or health authority interaction.
  • Strong understanding of Latin American regulatory environments.
  • Direct experience engaging with health authorities from within a regulatory agency, pharmaceutical or biotechnology company, industry association, consulting environment or comparable setting.
  • Experience working across multiple countries and regulatory contexts.
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders with credibility and sound judgment.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory processes and health authority decision-making.
  • Experience operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate regulatory complexity into clear, practical recommendations.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving organization.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Based in Latin America.
  • Experience across both Brazil and Spanish-speaking Latin American markets.
  • Existing relationships with health authorities or relevant industry stakeholders in the region.
  • Experience in external engagement, regulatory policy, public affairs or related leadership roles.
  • Experience in a global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, regulatory or advisory environment.
  • Exposure to digital platforms, regulatory systems or process modernization initiatives.
  • Experience working across both regional and global responsibilities.
  • Experience building or formalizing external engagement approaches in a growing organization.


LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

  • English required.
  • Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Portuguese strongly preferred.
  • Capability across English, Spanish and Portuguese is highly desirable.


IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

The successful candidate is likely to come from one or more of the following backgrounds:

  • A senior regulatory affairs leader with multi-market or regional responsibility.
  • A former health authority official with strong external credibility.
  • A regulatory policy, external affairs or stakeholder engagement leader with relevant regional experience.


This individual will combine regulatory depth, sound judgment, relationship-building capability and

the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic business environment.
