Wildfires are a $20 trillion crisis. Earth Force is building the technology that dramatically increases the pace and scale of fuels reduction and forest thinning—creating resilient forests and protecting people and communities from the devastating effects of wildfire.
We develop integrated computer vision systems—hardware through UI—deployed on forestry machines operating in remote forest environments. Our platform measures trees in real time, automates production reporting, and enables precision silviculture at a scale the industry has never seen. We work primarily with the U.S. Forest Service and their implementation partners under multi-year program agreements.
We’re commercially deployed and approaching scale. What we need now is someone who can own program delivery—making sure that what we promise, we deliver, and that what we deliver earns the trust that keeps our partners coming back.

Earth Force is seeking a Head of Product to lead the Product function for the Guide business unit.
This role will own product leadership, roadmap execution, and customer-domain product strategy for Guide — translating company-level product direction into actionable priorities that support field deployments, customer outcomes, and business growth.
The Head of Product will partner closely with Earth Force’s Chief Product Officer, who leads centralized product strategy and platform direction across the company. Within that framework, this role is responsible for ensuring the Guide roadmap, customer requirements, and deployment priorities are effectively defined, integrated, and executed.
This role sits at the center of a highly cross-functional ecosystem spanning hardware, computer vision, field operations, and customer workflows. Success requires strong product judgment, systems thinking, and the ability to create alignment across technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders operating in complex real-world environments.
This is also a foundational organizational leadership role. The Head of Product will help shape how the Guide product organization operates as Earth Force scales from early deployments toward production-ready systems — including building product management practices, establishing planning rhythms, and hiring domain-focused Product Managers over time.
Own the Guide product roadmap, translating company strategy into prioritized product initiatives, delivery plans, and execution milestones.
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Commercial, and Product leadership to align priorities, requirements, tradeoffs, and releases.
Incorporate customer, operator, and field feedback into product decisions, ensuring solutions address real-world workflows and deployment challenges.
Balance short-term deployment needs with long-term platform, product, and business objectives to drive sustainable growth.
Build and scale the Guide Product function, including team development, product management processes, documentation standards, and prioritization frameworks.
Drive deployment readiness and production scalability by defining success criteria and ensuring products support reliable field operations and commercial adoption.
6+ years of product management experience, including leadership responsibility.
Experience leading products that combine hardware and software systems.
Strong systems thinker comfortable operating across technical, operational, and customer domains simultaneously.
Proven ability to partner effectively with highly technical engineering and architecture teams.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure in fast-moving environments.
Strong product judgment and prioritization instincts.
Excellent communicator capable of aligning diverse stakeholders around difficult tradeoffs.
Collaborative, low-ego leader motivated by solving meaningful real-world problems.
Experience in industrial technology, robotics, edge AI, computer vision, IoT, geospatial systems, or operational field technologies.
Exposure to forestry, wildfire mitigation, conservation technology, natural resources, or government-regulated environments.
Experience building PM organizations from the ground up.
Familiarity with remote sensing or field-deployed operational systems.
