⭐ About Tagvenue

At Tagvenue, we’re building a SaaS-enabled marketplace that is redefining how people discover and book venues around the world. We’re a team of highly capable and deeply curious people who care about solving meaningful problems and influencing how the venue-hire market operates globally.

Every month, thousands of events are planned through Tagvenue - from corporate offsites and private dinners to workshops, film productions and weddings. We connect people with unique spaces, matching their needs with the best venues on our marketplace.

⭐ About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to lead and scale our marketing function. Tagvenue has grown primarily through SEO and product-led growth. We've never had a dedicated marketing function beyond that. This is your opportunity to build it.

In this role, success means taking ownership of channels that don't exist yet and proving they can drive measurable, attributable growth. Within your first year, you will have built a working demand generation engine, established paid acquisition channels with clear ROI and put lifecycle marketing programmes in place that increase repeat bookings and customer lifetime value.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a team of 5 people across acquisition, retention and brand. You'll work closely with the team to understand what's working, identify where we need to invest more and allocate budget towards the activities that drive the strongest ROI.

The ideal candidate has built marketing functions before, knows what good looks like and is comfortable being held to numbers from day one.

⭐ What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute Tagvenue's marketing strategy with a primary focus on demand generation, paid acquisition and retention - with clear ROI targets for every channel

  • Design and implement an AI-driven acquisition system that automates the majority of campaign management, creative production, testing and optimisation

  • Build and lead a results-oriented marketing team, starting with a team of 5. You'll define how the function scales over time, identify the capabilities we need to add and develop a clear ROI-driven plan for getting there

  • Own acquisition channels including paid media, content marketing, partnerships and email/CRM, while collaborating closely with the SEO team to align organic and paid strategies

  • Lead pilot programmes for new acquisition channels, turn pilots into scalable playbooks and products and kill experiments quickly when ROI is not there

  • Identify new growth opportunities and experiment with innovative marketing approaches, including leveraging AI tools to improve speed, scale and effectiveness across the function

  • Drive retention and lifecycle marketing to increase repeat bookings and customer lifetime value

  • Develop and strengthen Tagvenue's brand positioning across all markets, working with the existing brand owner on your team

  • Set KPIs, track performance and optimise campaigns based on data-driven insights - consistently tying marketing activity to revenue outcomes

  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively across channels and campaigns

⭐ What We’re Looking For

Must-have
  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role (Head of, VP or Director level)

  • Background in a marketplace or e-commerce company, ideally at a scale-up stage

  • Track record in paid acquisition (Google Ads, Meta, programmatic) with real budget responsibility and demonstrated ROI

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g. for content production, campaign optimisation, data analysis or workflow automation) to increase marketing output and efficiency

  • Successful track record in retention and lifecycle marketing with measurable impact on customer lifetime value and repeat revenue

  • Proven ability to build, manage and develop high-performing marketing teams

  • Strong understanding of both brand marketing and performance/growth marketing, with the ability to connect brand activity to business outcomes

  • Results-driven, data-led mindset with a track record of translating metrics into actionable strategies and attributable growth

  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Nice-to-have
  • Experience in the events, hospitality or venue-hire industry

  • Familiarity with two-sided marketplace dynamics (supply and demand)

  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience collaborating with dedicated SEO teams

  • Knowledge of the Polish and/or UK market

⭐ What Makes Us a Great Place to Work

  • Competitive compensation based on your experience and qualifications

  • Flexible working hours

  • 24 paid days off per year and all public holidays

  • Birthday day off

  • Private healthcare

  • Growth budget for books and courses

  • And because we're part of the events industry, we celebrate: Every quarter, we meet in Kraków to connect in person, recharge and have fun together 🎉
