Overview

We are seeking experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Specialists with deep expertise in integration and rating engine development. The role focuses on designing, configuring, and implementing scalable PolicyCenter solutions aligned with complex insurance business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Development

  • Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.
  • Develop rating models, worksheets, and algorithms.
  • Implement integrations using Guidewire APIs, web services, and messaging frameworks.

Integration

  • Design and build interfaces with upstream and downstream systems (billing, claims, CRM).
  • Leverage middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Kafka) for seamless data exchange.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to translate requirements into solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.

Maintenance & Optimization

  • Enhance system performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.


Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Core Expertise

  • 6–12 years of IT experience with 5+ years in Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Strong proficiency in GOSU, Guidewire Studio, Java, and XML.
  • Hands-on experience with PolicyCenter configuration, product model, rating engine, and rules engine.

Integration Skills

  • Experience with SOAP and REST web services.
  • Strong understanding of Guidewire integration patterns (APIs, messaging).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft or Kafka.
  • Exposure to insurance domain (policy lifecycle, underwriting, billing, claims).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and deployment practices.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills.
