Job Title: Guidewire InsuranceNow Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire InsuranceNow Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Guidewire InsuranceNow solutions for Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance clients. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in InsuranceNow, strong solution architecture capabilities, and extensive experience delivering large-scale insurance transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the end-to-end solution architecture for Guidewire InsuranceNow implementations.

  • Lead solution design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical architectures.

  • Design InsuranceNow configurations, workflows, business rules, product models, forms, and integrations.

  • Define integration architecture using REST APIs, web services, middleware, and third-party applications.

  • Provide technical leadership to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Establish architecture standards, coding best practices, and governance.

  • Review technical designs, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure solution quality.

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps teams.

  • Lead production deployment planning, performance optimization, and technical risk mitigation.

  • Mentor technical teams and guide complex design decisions.


Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of overall IT experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire InsuranceNow.

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect on Guidewire InsuranceNow implementations.

  • Strong experience architecting enterprise-scale insurance solutions.

  • Excellent understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and integration architecture.

  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.

    • Insurance product configuration

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Drive architecture decisions across multiple workstreams.

  • Lead technical solution reviews and design governance.

  • Collaborate directly with client leadership and business stakeholders.

  • Mentor development teams and ensure adherence to architectural standards.

  • Support estimation, technical planning, and delivery governance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Guidewire InsuranceNow Certification.

  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform.

  • Exposure to PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter is an added advantage.

  • Experience with DevOps, cloud-native architecture, and API-led integrations.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
