This is a remote position.
Overview :
We are looking for a Guidewire BC Integration Developer to design and implement robust, scalable integration solutions within our Guidewire Cloud environment. You will be responsible for moving our integration logic toward modern Cloud standards, leveraging Integration Gateway, Cloud APIs, and the Jutro Digital Platform.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Integration:
Design and develop integration components using the Guidewire Integration Framework (Integration Gateway, App Events, and Cloud API).
Digital Transformation:
Collaborate with front-end teams to expose back-end core functions to the Jutro Digital Platform using RESTful endpoints.
Legacy Modernization:
Refactor existing legacy "Gosu-heavy" integrations into cloud-native, API-first architectures to reduce technical debt.
Operational Excellence:
Utilize the Guidewire Cloud Console for environment management, automated builds, and promotion of code across SDLC stages.
Collaboration:
Work closely with Business Analysts and Architects to translate mind maps/blueprints from the Advanced Product Designer (APD) into technical integration specs.
Requirements
Technical Skills Required
Guidewire Core:
Deep expertise in Billing Center (v10+ preferred).
Integration Patterns:
Strong hands-on experience with Integration Gateway (Apache Camel), Messaging, and Plugins.
Web Services:
Expert proficiency in RESTful APIs (Cloud API) and legacy SOAP services.
Development Tools:
Mastery of Gosu, Java, XML, and JSON. Experience with Guidewire Studio and Bitbucket pipelines.
Cloud Stack:
Familiarity with AWS/Azure basics, Secrets Management, and Cloud Console operational workflows.
UI Awareness:
Basic understanding of ReactJS or the Jutro Design System is a significant plus
