Roles and Responsibilities
The GSI NAM SER Field operations Leader supervises the field operations group . In this role, he/she:
Manage the field specialists and field engineers, their personal and skill developments
Grow and develop the team
Maintain the field group at the expected level of productivity
Anticipate business development and develop staffing plans to support the growth
Sales and operational planning. Resource loading and planning. Ensure accurate resource loading and capacity planning to meet project demands
Maintain the field activity planning up to date:
Field process owner; guarantee that the field mission are executed as per the processes. Improve the processes based on return of experience
Supervise 24/7 response; Maintain rotation planning. Make sure someone answer the calls. Dispatch calls if required
Customer Engagement - Serve as the primary point of escalation and strategic partner for the client. Build and maintain executive-level relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction
Cross function coordination - Cross-Functional collaboration between Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
Contribute to the development of organizational strategy and policy, ensuring all delivery models align with broader business objectives.
Proactively promote EHS; Maintain Field people trained as per legal requirements. Make sure mission risks are properly identified and mitigated. Guarantee appropriate PPEs are provided to the field specialist
Required Qualifications
Fluent in English and French (desirable)
5 years of experience as team manager / Prior field operations experience in Services and operations
Strong preference for bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering
Work exposure to Transmission and Distribution substation engineering for utilities and renewable energy power plants
Field experience in electrical, mechanical, controls and protection disciplines
Desired Characteristics

Prior GE work experience in GEV GSI group

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $104,200.00 and $173,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
