Support the CEO in managing government contract solicitations, proposal development, and compliance tracking. Act as a temporary Program Manager to ensure continuity of contract performance and customer communication.
The Opportunity
JLGOV is seeking a proactive Growth Manager to support government contracts, solicitations, proposal development, compliance tracking, and business development operations. This role works directly with the CEO to keep opportunities, deadlines, task orders, and proposal efforts moving with clarity and accountability.
This is a part-time, non-exempt role with potential to grow into a long-term full-time position based on performance and business needs.
What You’ll Do
Proposal & Growth Support
- Support proposal development from opportunity review through submission.
- Track assignments, deadlines, contributors, and deliverables.
- Maintain CRM visibility and provide weekly/monthly updates.
- Support proposal templates, boilerplate, resumes, past performance, and compliance matrices.
Contract & PMO Support
- Assist as Acting Program Manager during absences, transitions, or other periods when the assigned Program Manager is unavailable.
- Help ensure continuity of contract performance, customer communication, deliverable coordination, and day-to-day contract support.
- Track contract reporting requirements, compliance deadlines, and project risks.
- Send reminders, confirm timely submissions, and review deliverables for quality and compliance.
Opportunity Tracking
- Monitor contract vehicles and portals for new task orders and opportunities.
- Organize task orders for internal stakeholders and teaming partners.
- Maintain proposal trackers, partner lists, and documentation libraries.
- Learn and use AI-enabled tools to support proposal and growth operations.
What You Bring
- Required experience with government contracts, solicitations, and proposal development.
- 3- years of experience in proposals, contracts, capture support, project coordination, or government contracting support with a successful track record of awards.
- Familiarity with federal procurement, task orders, and contract vehicles.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills and experience with CRM/project tools such as Zoho, ClickUp, Smartsheet, or similar.
- Excellent organization, communication, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Due to the nature of this work in government contracting, U.S. Citizenship is required due to potential access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Federal Contract Information (FCI).
- Must pass background and professional reference checks.

- Compensation: $25.00/hour
- Schedule: Approximately 20 hours/week; not to exceed 25 hours/week without approval
