We are seeking a Compliance Operations Associate to support the Compliance and Operations functions. This role provides operational and administrative support to ensure compliance processes, documentation, and reporting requirements are properly tracked, organized, and executed across the organization. 


The Compliance Operations Associate will assist with coordinating internal compliance processes, maintaining regulatory documentation, and supporting cross-functional teams in meeting contractual and regulatory obligations. 


This role supports Atreides’ work with defense and intelligence community partners and provides exposure to regulatory frameworks relevant to national security, including government contracting compliance, FOCI mitigation, export controls, and related regulatory obligations. 


Duties and Responsibilities 

Under general supervision, the Compliance Coordinator will support compliance operations and documentation management. Responsibilities include: 

  • Coordinate and track Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with employees, consultants, partners, and vendors. 
  • Support consultant and vendor intake processes, including onboarding documentation, due diligence coordination, and compliance approvals. 
  • Maintain organized contract files and compliance documentation, ensuring required records are properly stored and accessible. 
  • Assist in maintaining the company’s compliance calendar, including tracking deadlines for regulatory filings, certifications, training, and reporting obligations. 
  • Support FOCI (Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence) compliance tracking, including maintaining required documentation and assisting with monitoring reporting obligations. 
  • Coordinate internal approvals and documentation related to compliance matters. 
  • Assist in preparing materials for internal audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting. 
  • Maintain compliance trackers, logs, and reporting tools to ensure visibility into key compliance activities. 
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation and processes align with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements. 
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information. 
  • Assist in the development and improvement of compliance processes and documentation management practices. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. 


Job Qualifications 

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in business, legal studies, public policy, or a related field, and 1–3 years of professional experience supporting compliance, legal, contracts, or administrative operations.  

Preferred qualifications include: 

  • Familiarity with government contracting or regulatory compliance environments. 
  • Exposure to or interest in U.S. government regulatory frameworks such as FOCI mitigation, export controls (ITAR/EAR), or federal contracting compliance. 
  • Experience coordinating documentation, approvals, or regulatory filings. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tracking systems and deadlines simultaneously. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency with standard business software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, document management systems). 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
