Your mission

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of global Medical Affairs strategies and scientific initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regional needs.
  • Develop and maintain strategic scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), investigators, and other healthcare stakeholders to foster scientific collaboration and generate actionable medical insights.
  • Lead scientific exchange with external experts, ensuring balanced, evidence-based communication of clinical data and product information.
  • Identify evidence gaps and support evidence generation initiatives, including investigator-initiated studies (IIS), real-world evidence (RWE), clinical publications, and scientific collaborations.
  • Gather, analyze, and communicate medical insights from healthcare professionals, KOLs, and international markets to inform medical strategy, product lifecycle management, and future evidence-generation activities.
  • Provide scientific leadership and medical support throughout the product lifecycle, including clinical evidence dissemination, scientific communications, and responses to medical information requests.
  • Review and approve scientific and promotional claims, marketing materials, educational content, and external communications to ensure scientific accuracy, clinical relevance, regulatory compliance, and consistency with approved product labeling.
  • Partner closely with Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Marketing, Market Access, and Commercial teams to ensure cross-functional alignment while maintaining Medical Affairs independence and scientific integrity.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of advisory boards, scientific congresses, expert meetings, and publication strategies to strengthen external scientific engagement.
  • Support the development, review, and approval of scientific publications, abstracts, manuscripts, medical presentations, and evidence summaries.
  • Monitor emerging scientific literature, clinical evidence, treatment guidelines, competitor activities, and healthcare trends to identify opportunities and support strategic medical planning.
  • Ensure all Medical Affairs activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations, ethical standards, industry codes of practice, and company compliance policies.

Your profile

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, or a related healthcare discipline.
  • PhD or master’s in healthcare is considered mandatory if there is no previous experience in breast implants.
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry. Experience in breast implants will be considered a plus
  • Previous exposure to Medical Affairs, Medical Education, scientific projects, or healthcare stakeholder engagement is preferred.
Languages
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Fluent Spanish and basic Portuguese are highly desirable and would be considered an asset

  • Strong scientific acumen with the ability to critically evaluate, interpret, and communicate clinical evidence.
  • Excellence in scientific communication and medical storytelling for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), investigators, and healthcare professionals.
  • Expertise in KOL engagement, medical insight generation, and translating field insights into actionable medical strategies.
  • Strong understanding of Medical Affairs principles, scientific exchange, evidence generation, and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience reviewing scientific claims and promotional materials to ensure scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with approved labeling.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify evidence gaps, emerging clinical trends, and opportunities to strengthen the scientific value proposition.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without authority while maintaining Medical Affairs independence.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced global environment.
  • High ethical standards, sound scientific judgment, and commitment to compliance with industry regulations and codes of practice.
  • Adaptability and effectiveness in working within multicultural, cross-regional, and matrix organizations.
