The GHL Migration Specialist will manage end-to-end migrations of client accounts, including funnels, websites, and automation workflows into GoHighLevel. They are responsible for configuring technical integrations, auditing migrated assets for accuracy, and ensuring all systems function correctly before handover.
About the Role
COLAB is looking for an experienced GHL Migration Specialist to manage and execute client migrations to GoHighLevel (GHL) remotely. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience migrating websites, funnels, workflows, automations, contacts, calendars, and other assets into GHL while ensuring everything is properly configured, tested, and functional after migration.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end migrations of client accounts and marketing assets into GoHighLevel (GHL).
Migrate and configure funnels, websites, landing pages, forms, workflows, automations, pipelines, calendars, contacts, and other GHL assets.
Recreate existing systems and processes accurately within GHL while maintaining their intended functionality.
Configure domains, DNS, tracking, forms, calendars, pipelines, email/SMS workflows, and other required integrations.
Audit migrated accounts to identify missing assets, broken links, incorrect configurations, or automation issues.
Test all migrated assets and workflows to ensure they function correctly before handover.
Troubleshoot migration-related issues and coordinate with other team members when technical support is required.
Maintain accurate documentation of migration progress, completed items, outstanding issues, and required follow-ups.
Ensure migrations are completed within agreed timelines and meet internal quality standards.
Follow GHL best practices and maintain a clean, organized account structure.
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (GHL).
Proven experience handling GHL migrations and account setups.
Strong understanding of GHL workflows, automations, funnels, websites, forms, pipelines, calendars, and integrations.
Experience with DNS, domain configuration, tracking, email/SMS setup, and third-party integrations.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies during migration and QA.
Ability to manage multiple migrations and meet deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Marketing agency experience is preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience migrating accounts from other CRM/marketing platforms into GHL.
Familiarity with Zapier, webhooks, APIs, Stripe, Twilio, Mailgun, or similar integrations.
Basic understanding of websites, HTML/CSS, domains, and DNS.
Experience with GHL snapshots and account cloning.
