Position Summary

Washington University Regional Physicians

Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine seeks a dedicated remote overnight radiologist to join our Community Division. You will provide coverage for BJC-affiliated hospitals across Illinois, including Memorial Hospital Belleville and Memorial Hospital Shiloh.

• Compensation
○ Salary: $500,000–$700,000/year (commensurate with experience)
• Your work will be a minimum 80% of your subspeciality
• Supplemental income:

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients, ensuring evidence-based and compassionate clinical management.
• Coordinates with nurses, advanced practitioners, specialists, case managers, and ancillary staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Records all patient encounters, orders, and follow-up information accurately in EPIC to meet WashU Medicine and regulatory standards.
• Maintains active licensure and privileges, complies with WashU Medicine policies, and upholds ethical, regulatory, and confidentiality requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Hold or be eligible to obtain medical license(s) in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois.

• ABR board certified or eligible in specialty area.

• Eligible for Illinois and Missouri licensure

• Proficient in emergency CT and routine inpatient imaging

• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teleradiology experience
