What is One Project?

One Project is a mission-driven nonprofit social venture. We work in partnership with others to build support, tools, and systems for a just transition to a regenerative democratic economy.

What does One Project do?

One Project works with the growing ecosystem of people and communities who want to build a world beyond capitalism together. We play our role in a number of ways: through moving resources where they’re most needed, building power and visibility for the communities modeling this change, and co-designing shared infrastructure — tools, systems, processes, technology and more — to support a more just and abundant world.

We understand that One Project is a new node in an already active network of people working towards a shared future beyond capitalism. This is why much of our work to date has focused on deep listening to communities, movements, and other experts to identify where One Project’s collective talent and resources may best serve. This expansive listening has guided our strategy and orientation to date.

One Project collaborates with people to build tools, systems and support for the futures ahead.

We build deep relationships with communities who share a vision for a new economy. We work alongside them to co-create social and digital infrastructure, and also offer material support to nurture a growing ecosystem of collective action.
