We are looking for an experienced Game & Level Designer with a proven track record of contributing to successful casual or mobile games.
The primary goal of this role is to significantly increase our team’s production capacity while maintaining a consistently high standard of quality. You will be responsible for designing, balancing, testing, and delivering engaging levels at a fast pace.
We are looking for someone who lives and breathes games—an experienced, hands-on designer who can take ownership of projects from concept through launch, create innovative mechanics, and shape compelling player experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Own the game and level design process from initial concept through production, launch, and post-launch updates.
- Design, build, balance, and deliver high-quality levels efficiently.
- Create engaging mechanics, systems, progression structures, and core gameplay loops.
- Define difficulty curves, pacing, challenges, and player progression.
- Develop new gameplay concepts and identify opportunities to improve existing features.
- Collaborate closely with artists, developers, product managers, analysts, and QA teams to bring ideas to life.
- Create clear design documentation, specifications, and implementation guidelines.
- Playtest levels and features, identify gameplay issues, and iterate based on feedback.
- Use player behavior, performance data, and product metrics to improve engagement and retention.
- Ensure designs are scalable, production-ready, and aligned with the game’s creative and commercial goals.
- Stay informed about market trends, successful casual games, emerging mechanics, and industry best practices.
Requirements

- Proven professional experience as a Game Designer, Level Designer, or Game & Level Designer.
- Demonstrated experience working on successful casual or mobile games.
- At least one commercially launched title with measurable market success.
- A strong portfolio showcasing game systems, mechanics, level design, and shipped projects.
- Proven ability to design and balance a high volume of engaging levels without compromising quality.
- Strong understanding of difficulty progression, pacing, player psychology, retention, and engagement.
- Experience taking games or major features through concept development, prototyping, production, QA, launch, and post-launch optimization.
- Ability to invent original mechanics and apply design thinking across different genres.
- Experience using playtesting, player feedback, and data to make informed design decisions.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- A proactive, organized, and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and perform effectively in a fast-paced remote environment.
