Full Stack Developer (LATAM or the Caribbean)

BA Global Talent is looking for a Remote Full Stack Developer based in LATAM or the Caribbean to join a dynamic Product Development team for a four-month contract engagement.

This is a fully remote, full-time contract opportunity for a Full Stack Developer who will play a crucial role in designing and implementing software modules that enable seamless integrations between an accessibility-focused technology platform and its customers' systems. You will work across the technology stack to build scalable, reliable, secure, and high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement software modules that enable integrations between the platform and customer systems.

• Design and develop highly scalable and reliable software components.

• Implement development best practices and coding standards to ensure software is scalable, maintainable, and secure.

• Maintain the quality, responsiveness, reliability, and security of applications.

• Develop and support solutions using C#, .NET, React, Redux, Material UI, and Node.js.

• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).

• Contribute to cloud-based solutions using technologies such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.

• Prototype, test, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.

• Apply secure software-development practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation.

• Collaborate effectively with technical and cross-functional team members.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members when needed.

• Stay current with software-development trends, technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Must be currently based in Latin America (LATAM) or the Caribbean.

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET Framework.

• Experience working in a Windows development environment.

• Experience with front-end technologies and frameworks including React, Redux, and Material UI.

• Experience working with Node.js.

• Experience with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.

• Proficiency with relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).

• Strong prototyping, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong understanding of software security and secure software-development practices.

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Very good written and verbal English communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Hands-on, proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership and get things done.

• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
