Frontend Team Lead (Remote | $3,000/month)
We are seeking a Frontend Team Lead with expert-level experience in Vue.js to guide our frontend development and help build scalable, high-performance web applications. You will lead frontend architecture decisions, mentor the development team, and take ownership of key technical and product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable frontend applications using Vue.js
- Guide architecture decisions and set technical direction for the frontend team
- Develop reusable components and shared frontend libraries
- Optimize application performance and responsiveness
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX, backend, and product teams
- Review code, run pairing sessions, and mentor mid-level and junior developers
- Integrate APIs and third-party services
- Lead architecture and technical discussions, breaking down complex features into tasks
- Ensure application quality through testing, debugging, and code review standards
Required Skills
- 5+ years of frontend development experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Vue.js, with recent hands-on experience in a current or recent role
- Recent experience working alongside React and Nuxt.js
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Solid experience with the broader Vue.js ecosystem
- Experience with state management tools
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous programming
- Experience with responsive and cross-browser development
- Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a frontend team
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Cypress)
- Familiarity with Chrome Extension
- Experience with component libraries and design systems
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
