Frontend Engineer (all genders) - Part-time (50%)

What you will do

Our website brings the chargecloud Operating System, our solutions and our expertise to life for Charging Heroes across Europe. As a member of our marketing team, you’ll ensure that approved UX/UI designs are turned into a high-quality, flexible and reliable website – and continue to develop it step by step.

• You develop our website using React and Next.js, pragmatically improving the existing architecture and implementing new pages, modules and reusable components.
• You integrate Storyblok with our Next.js front-end: to do this, you develop suitable components, content structures and fields, and ensure that content is displayed flexibly and reliably.
• Translating UX/UI designs into responsive front-ends is also part of your role, taking into account different screen sizes, states, interactions and language versions.
• You integrate APIs and external services, whilst keeping an eye on performance, technical SEO and accessibility.
• Quality is an integral part of your work – through technical testing, code reviews and clean releases.
• Together with the online marketing team and our agency, you ensure the technical backlog remains achievable, provide realistic estimates of effort, and address risks as well as technical possibilities and limitations at an early stage.
• You use AI-powered tools in a targeted way to make development, testing and documentation more efficient.

Your profile

• A degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical qualification.
• You have experience in professional front-end development and are proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, React and Next.js.
• Practical experience with Storyblok and the technical implementation of components, content structures and fields; knowledge of Node.js, npm and API integrations.
• You translate UX/UI designs into responsive, maintainable and reusable front-ends, whilst ensuring performance, accessibility and technical SEO.
• You work with Git/GitHub, pull requests and structured testing and release processes.
• You work independently, in a structured and pragmatic manner, and explain technical topics clearly – in collaboration with internal teams and agencies.
• Fluent English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
