Frontend Developer (React)

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Frontend Developer to support a UK-based employer in building modern, responsive web interfaces. This role is ideal for a South African professional who is organised, proactive, and confident working with UK teams remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support frontend development tasks across multiple UK-based projects
• Handle bug fixes, feature requests, and code reviews in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
• Maintain accurate records of development progress, documentation, and version control
• Use relevant tools such as React, TypeScript, Git, and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Support the wider team with technical guidance, sprint planning, and delivery
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, accessibility, and user experience

Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development with React or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and version control tools like Git
• Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Experience working with UK-based clients or employers is advantageous
• Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment

Salary: R45,000/month | 100% Remote
