Freelance Web Developer - Wordpress

Compulsory Requirement: Minimum 3 Years Experience as a WordPress Web Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing live, high-quality websites and custom projects.

Payment Structure: Hourly-based payments - The Web Developer will be compensated on an hourly basis for work completed on both FyerX's internal web initiatives and external client projects. Competitive hourly rates aligned with industry standards and experience level.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites for both FyerX's internal initiatives and diverse client brands, ensuring optimal performance, responsiveness, and technical SEO.
  

• Develop, customize, and configure WordPress themes and plugins from scratch to add necessary functionalities that align with specific campaign objectives and client needs.
  

• Collaborate closely with internal marketing strategists, UX/UI designers, and clients to seamlessly translate creative concepts (from tools like Figma or Adobe XD) into scalable, pixel-perfect web interfaces.
  

• Perform regular site maintenance, including core version updates, server-side optimizations, security patching, and routine backups to ensure maximum uptime and data protection.
  

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues, manage database structures (MySQL), and implement caching strategies to guarantee flawless user experiences across all browsers and devices.
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional web development experience with a robust portfolio demonstrating custom WordPress builds for corporate clients, digital agencies, or internal brands.
  

• Advanced proficiency in both front-end and back-end web technologies, including PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL, coupled with a deep understanding of WordPress architecture.
  

• Extensive experience with custom theme and plugin development, popular page builders (such as Elementor or Gutenberg), and seamless integration of third-party APIs.
  

• Strategic problem-solving expertise with a strong grasp of web security best practices, mobile-first design principles, and UI/UX fundamentals.
  

• Strong organizational, time-tracking, and project management skills; ability to handle multiple development projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and coordinate effectively with fully remote marketing teams.
