Compulsory Requirement: Minimum 3 Years Experience as a Video Editor with a strong showreel/portfolio showcasing diverse editing projects.

Payment Structure: Hourly-based payments - The Video Editor will be compensated on an hourly basis for work completed on both FyerX's internal branding initiatives and external client projects. Competitive hourly rates aligned with industry standards and experience level.

Work Arrangement: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Review, organize, and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging video content for both FyerX's internal marketing and diverse client brands (including social media reels, digital ads, and corporate videos).
  

• Shape pacing, sound design, and visual storytelling by incorporating music, voice-overs, sound effects, basic motion graphics, and text overlays to align with campaign objectives.
  

• Perform color correction, audio mixing, and format adaptation to ensure optimal playback and engagement across various digital platforms and aspect ratios (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).
  

• Collaborate closely with internal marketing strategists, copywriters, and clients to understand creative briefs, present rough cuts, and effectively implement stakeholder feedback.
  

• Maintain organized project files, manage media assets, ensure version control, and uphold visual brand consistency throughout all video projects.
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience with a robust showreel demonstrating creative storytelling, pacing, and versatility across both short-form and long-form content.
  

• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Familiarity with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics is highly desirable.
  

• Strong technical understanding of video production principles, color grading, audio synchronization, and optimizing export settings for specific social media algorithms.
  

• Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving expertise; ability to take a creative brief from raw footage to final execution while ensuring it aligns perfectly with brand goals.
  

• Strong organizational, time-tracking, and project management skills; ability to manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and coordinate effectively with fully remote marketing teams.
