Compulsory Requirement: Minimum 3 Years Experience as a Backend Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing scalable server-side applications, APIs, and database architecture.

Payment Structure: Hourly-based payments - The Backend Developer will be compensated on an hourly basis for work completed on both FyerX's internal technology infrastructure and external client platforms. Competitive hourly rates aligned with industry standards and experience level.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust server-side logic and database structures for FyerX's internal systems and diverse client applications.
  

• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to ensure seamless, secure communication between frontend interfaces and external third-party services.
  

• Manage and optimize relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases to guarantee efficient data storage, retrieval, and high-performance querying.
  

• Implement rigorous security protocols, data protection measures, and authentication/authorization workflows (e.g., OAuth, JWT) to safeguard sensitive business and user data.
  

• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and project managers to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, refine workflows, and deploy updates via CI/CD pipelines.
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience with a proven track record of building, deploying, and maintaining secure and scalable server-side systems.
  

• Advanced proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (such as Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, or PHP) and their corresponding frameworks (e.g., Express, Django, Spring Boot).
  

• Deep understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and query optimization for both SQL and NoSQL environments.
  

• Solid hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure), server management, and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
  

• Strategic problem-solving expertise with a strong focus on writing clean, modular code and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
  

• Strong organizational, time-tracking, and project management skills; ability to handle multiple backend projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and coordinate effectively with remote tech teams.
