Founding Growth Marketer

About the Role

This is a founding marketing hire at a Y Combinator–backed MarTech startup building in one of the fastest-growing channels in marketing today: Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI search visibility. You'll work directly alongside the CEO to build the inbound engine from the ground up, with a clear path toward a VP of Marketing role as the company scales.

What You'll Do

• Drive demand generation and grow inbound leads across multiple marketing channels.

• Build and own the organic growth engine, including content and SEO strategies.

• Ideate and execute hypothesis-driven marketing experiments, measuring results with quantitative rigor.

• Partner closely with the CEO to refine messaging and identify new growth opportunities.

• Plan and execute in-person events and conferences to grow brand awareness.

• Collaborate with designers (or use design tools directly) to produce compelling marketing materials.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of marketing experience at a Series A–C stage startup.

• Demonstrated ability to design, execute, and measure marketing experiments using quantitative analysis.

• Hands-on experience with A/B testing, statistical analysis, or marketing analytics tools.

• Background marketing to marketers or experience at a MarTech company.

• Experience planning and running in-person events or conferences.

• Familiarity with multi-channel marketing campaign design and execution.

• Comfortable working with design tools or briefing and collaborating with designers.

• A portfolio or case studies showing measurable campaign results and ROI impact is a strong plus.

• Ambition to grow into a senior marketing leadership role over time.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $100,000–$220,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Location

Primary location is Los Angeles, CA. Remote candidates will also be considered. Additional hubs include San Francisco, CA and New York City, NY.
