About the role

This role designs and builds the core data platform from scratch: a lakehouse that ingests high-volume events, processes them into FHIR standards, and serves both external hospital clients and internal analytics. - Design and build a high-volume event-driven data platform from scratch

- Ingest and process millions of events into a lakehouse architecture

- Transform and standardize clinical data into FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) format

- Work directly with external hospital IT teams to gather technical requirements and integrate with legacy infrastructure

- Build developer-facing public APIs for external clients

- 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, currently operating as an individual contributor shipping production code
