POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Fortress Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product's future. Your responsibilities will span from the initial stages of ideation and market assessment, all the way through the rigorous processes of engineering, testing, and strategic marketing.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee new product features and enhancements, from beginning to end while creating internal enablement materials for training and launch materials for go-to-market.
- Consistently improve upon product knowledge and anticipate client needs through comprehensive research and user analytics.
- Demonstrate strong strategic thinking and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and others to discover business requirements and user insights.
- Conduct user research to validate requirement assumptions as well as uncover additional user needs.
- Create product requirements and refine them with the engineering team.
- Work cross-functionally with designers, developers, and project managers on project scope, design strategy, designs, project milestones, features and functionality.
- Present user research, designs, prototypes, and other design deliverables to stakeholders.
- Assist in developing a vision and roadmap for the product.
- Facilitate the scrum agile process for the engineering team.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in fields relating to business or marketing or comparable experience preferred
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in product management is strongly preferred
- Experience with market and customer research
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Self-starter and results oriented
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to speak and make presentations to individuals or groups on technical subjects related to the job
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently sit, stand and walk.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Travel up to 10-20% of the time for customer events and/or strategic in-person meetings
