Flooring Specialist

Are you an experienced Flooring Specialist with strong U.S. construction experience and a passion for sharing your expertise? SMARTSOURCING USA is seeking a qualified Flooring Specialist to support the training and development of aspiring flooring estimators and construction professionals.

This is a contractor role for someone who can independently deliver training, provide mentorship, and contribute subject matter expertise in flooring systems and estimating practices.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Flooring Specialist or in a related flooring construction trade.
• Strong experience working on U.S.-based construction projects, with solid knowledge of U.S. standards, terminology, and workflows.
• Prior experience in a training, mentoring, coaching, or team lead capacity within the flooring industry.
• Strong understanding of flooring systems, materials, installation methods, estimating principles, takeoffs, and project coordination.
• Knowledge of U.S. flooring codes, specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
• Experience with commercial and/or residential flooring estimating.
• Familiarity with estimating software, digital takeoff tools, and blueprint reading
  
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a remote contractor setup.
• Professional, patient, and effective in guiding learners with varying skill levels.
