Position Overview: Nalu Federal is seeking an experienced, qualified, and competent Field Training Officer (FTO) to serve as the primary point of contact for all training matters under an armed security guard contract. The FTO is responsible for ensuring training is planned, executed, documented, and aligned with Army standards and contract requirements. The FTO does not have to be located on-site but must be reliably available during core hours to coordinate training topics and issues with the COR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary training lead for the contract; coordinate all training requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver instruction aligned to Army standards and contract-required performance tasks.
  • Coordinate with the COR during core hours regarding training plans, issues, gaps, corrective actions, and documentation.
  • Ensure personnel complete required initial and recurring training (e.g., authority/jurisdiction, use of force, reporting standards, CPR/First Aid coordination, and other contract-mandated requirements as applicable).
  • Validate and maintain training documentation, credentials, and records so they are audit-ready and compliant.
  • Support remedial training and performance improvement when deficiencies are identified.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of Law Enforcement or Military service experience.
  • Must be fully qualified to teach/train all tasks required under the contract.
  • A National Agency Check with inquiries (NACI) is required

Instructor Credentials / COR Approval Requirement

  • Proof of instructor credentials and certifications is required and must be submitted with a resume and designation letter to the COR for review and approval prior to assignment of duties.

Role Expectations: This role is for a disciplined trainer who can hold standards, document training properly, and close gaps fast. If you're casual about records, consistency, or accountability, this role will burn you.
