ABOUT REMOTESHIP
At Kerten Hospitality, we believe talent has no borders. Our Remoteship Program is a remote internship designed for ambitious individuals who want real hospitality exposure, not just observation, but true involvement. Through Remoteship, interns become part of live projects across our global portfolio. Whether it’s operations, marketing, People Services, development, or finance, you’ll work alongside our teams and contribute to meaningful initiatives that shape our brands and properties.
ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of food according to hotel standards and recipes.
Assist with basic food preparation, ingredient handling, and mise en place for daily operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, storage areas, and equipment.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products in accordance with FIFO procedures.
Support chefs during service periods to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Help monitor stock levels and report shortages or quality concerns to supervisors.
Learn and apply culinary techniques, recipes, and kitchen procedures under the guidance of senior chefs.
Collaborate with kitchen and F&B team members to deliver high-quality dining experiences.
Participate in training and development activities to build culinary and hospitality skills.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Currently studying or recently graduated in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
Strong interest in culinary operations and food & beverage within the hospitality industry.
Passion for food, creativity, and willingness to learn.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.
Positive attitude, flexibility, and eagerness to gain hands-on kitchen experience.
Basic knowledge in English; Italian is an advantage.
Based in Italy or eligible to work in Italy.
