The responsibilities for the Expert Modeller include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Participate in the preparation of offers for statistical projects with input on, e.g. required sample size, proposed study design, statistical study budget.
- Develop scientific presentations and/or publications on statistical topics that showcase scientific excellence (including work conducted by peers);
- Provide critical and detailed review of study documents (e.g. protocols, SAPs, statistical programs) within their area of expertise to ensure documents are of the highest quality;
- Act as point of contact for any internal/external questions with regards to modelling.
- Ten years of relevant working experience, with a PhD in statistics being a strong asset;
- Planning and performing statistical analyses and coordinating their QC;
- Designing advanced statistical methodologies;
- Statistical programming in R;
- Explaining statistical concepts to non-statisticians;
- Supervising project teams;
- Multi-disciplinary collaborations;
- Scientifically recognised for their expertise on a specific statistical topic related to statistical modelling, e.g. through publications, presentations at conferences;
- Authoritative knowledge on statistical modelling.
