At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.

In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.

We are offering you the opportunity to be part of our Assurance practice and to work with a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large entities, including remote work on the projects outside of Kazakhstan. We focus on using the latest technology to reduce the level of manual testing ensuring you’ll focus on the most valuable areas of client service and on enhancing corporate governance and the reliability of our clients’ information.

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to address complex business issues from strategy to execution.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver a range of Assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients of all sizes, providing an excellent opportunity to embed both your project management and leadership skills

  • Plan the Audit process from beginning to end, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and fair presentation of our client's information

  • Examine financial and accounting records or review certain processes or procedures being performed

  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

  • Actively coach team members, delegate tasks and ensure team project results

You are our perfect candidate if you:

  • Higher education

  • Have at least 3-5 years of working experience on similar role

  • ACCA in progress

  • Are able to demonstrate good project management skills

  • Have a good command of English and strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Have strong analytical and organisational abilities, also a good service orientation
