The EVP is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and client retention. This includes leading the sales team, managing key client relationships, and collaborating with the executive and operations teams.

Aquarius Strategies has been retained to recruit an exceptional individual for Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for a trusted, well-established company. This individual serves as a strategic leader and as a key part of the Executive team, reporting directly to the Vice President of the business unit. The EVP is responsible for developing and implementing strategic company and service-wide Sales Plans that will result in overall revenue growth and client retention for the business unit; inclusive of recruiting/hiring/training of Sales Team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience (20+) years in the Disability and/or Workers Compensation Insurance industry leading teams and successfully managing company goals and objectives.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop Strategic Sales Plans, based on company goals, that will promote sales growth and client retention
- Drive and lead continued company growth in number of accounts and corresponding revenue
- Monitor and forecast sales growth
- Working with a team, recruit, hire, and ensure sales personnel are properly trained and equipped for success
- Maintain contact with key current clients (combination of in-person, telephonic, email, text, video, and mail)
- Identify and pursue new potential clients (Regional and National)
- Prepare and present proposals and other presentations to current clients, potential clients and staff
- Involvement in both preparation and presentation of Client Stewardship Reports
- Maintain accessibility and responsiveness to clients
- Serve as a member of the Executive Team
- Work collaboratively with Operations Team
- Support day-day operations of the Quality Management Program, and Committee participation, upon request
- Participate in continued training in sales, services and industry; as applicable, may stay abreast of industry trends and best practices through conferences, conventions, seminars, etc.
- Maintain documentation of activities in CRM Platform
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as agreed upon

Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)
- Bachelor of Arts and/or Science Degree, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Advanced Degree and/or specialized Sales Training preferred
- Minimum 20 years of leadership experience in both Sales and Operations
- Workers Compensation Insurance industry Sales experience.
